Dutton & Co., Inc, in 1932, this handsome volume features Hirschfeld's animated sketches and caricatures of scenes from New York City's Speakeasies during Prohibition. Each image is accompanied by text describing the club, and includes the recipe for the speakeasy's signature drink. The introductory essay is by New York journalist and author Pete Hamill.
