This report reviews the size of the US market for household furniture in 2006 from a number of points of view. The first section of the report assesses the average spending patterns of US households by major expenditure category over time, and measures recent household spending on household furniture by product and consumer category. The second section of the report assesses the overall size of the household furniture market in the US at retail and manufacturers' prices and by state and metropolitan area.
