Economic principles of law.

The first economist appointed to a lectureship in a law department at a British university, Veljanovski introduces the economics of law to law students and other non-economists. This is not a textbook of either law or economics, he warns, but a sampler of the way economics has been used to examine law generally and in such core areas as property, contracts, tort, and crime.
