Handbook of forage and rangeland insects.
This handbook is intended to aid in the management of arthropod species both injurious and beneficial to forage and rangeland crops in the United States and Canada. The editors (professors of entomology affiliated with the U. of Maryland, Oklahoma State U., U. of Nebraska, and U. of Idaho) first present two short sections on forage and rangeland production and on arthropods and their management. They then present profiles of individual species that feed on crops that offer general biological and identification information, as well as information on range and types of crop injury. Similar information is provided for beneficial organisms. (Annotation ©2007 Book News Inc. Portland, OR)
